Our Story

We are a small town, family-owned business located in Cohasset, MN. We are state inspected 5 days a week & we are a whole-sale meat processing plant, specializing whole-sale & retail meats. 
When Tike was a young lad, he lived in Cohasset, MN right behind Harold & Sally Schafer's mercantile store on the Mississippi River. After being fascinated with that for a few years he began working at the Red Owl.
He was then trained in on cutting meat and making sausage. After working many years for the Red Owl, he then went to work for Jerry Miner at the Piggly Wiggly/Super Value/Cub Foods.
During that time, Tike opened up his own business cutting up meat & doing sausage. After many years of working for Jerry Miner, he then did the farmers markets. In 2018, Gary Lee Bales asked Tike to put retail meats in 2 of his stores (The Pokegama Lake Store, Grand Rapids & Frontier Sports, Marcell)
Since those 2 stores, we have expanded into other stores in Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas.
